What if I'm not ready to come out?

If you do choose to, then it’s important to make sure you tell who you want to, don’t feel you have to tell everyone if it’s not right for you.

If you decide to come out there is support if you feel it would help. Stonewall have good advice as does the LGBT Foundation.

On campus, LUU's LGBT+ Society also offers support and runs a coffee hour every day during term time if you’d like some peer to peer help, and as a University of Leeds student you have free access to the Big White Wall, an online mental health and wellbeing service which you can use alongside other support services.

If you have any concerns or feel that you are being pressured, you can always chat to us at LUU Advice.
