I've got a problem with my utility bill

If you think your utility provider has got something wrong, get in touch and let them know. Sometimes energy companies make mistakes. Some examples of problems are: charging too much for bills, poor customer services e.g. not doing what they said would be done e.g. providing information or an updated bill, cutting off the supply, and causing disrepair.

Make your complaint to the supplier first, they should have guidance on how to complain on their website. There’s more help on how to complain on the ofgem website here.

If you are looking to make a complaint about your water provider, the ofwat website can help here.

If your problem is not resolved by the company, you can complain to the Energy Ombudsman here.
