Who is a good landlord?

There are lots of good landlords in Leeds.

First - Visit Rate Your Landlord - a review site where students are honest about their landlord and the property itself.

Second - rent with a Code of Standards Landlord who have agreed to standards above the minimum legal requirements - any problems and you can put in a complaint. See who has signed up and check out what

complaints have been made.

Unipol is a unique student housing charity, established in 1975. We are passionate about helping students find the best housing.

Unipol provide help and assistance to students renting in the private sector, provide direct housing to students in Leeds, Nottingham and Bradford, run a number of accreditation schemes and train and promote best practice in student housing.

Third - check out the Housing Fair held in LUU during the year. This brings together landlords and agencies in Leeds that we would recommend. Keep an eye on our events for when the next one is organised.

Don’t forget to get your contract checked at LUU Advice for independent help about your landlord and what you are signing up to.
