Where can I look for part-time jobs or vacation work?
The best place to start looking for work is LUU’s own on campus job centre and recruitment agency, Joblink. They are experts in student-friendly part time and vacation work in and around Leeds, and will be happy to help you out. Join their Facebook page to keep up to date with part time jobs in Leeds.
You can also go online and use Facebook to search for any local job groups, or see if any local employers are promoting work. Some good job sites include Gumtree, Indeed, E4S, StudentBeans and StudentJob.
It’s always good to walk around your local area or city with a CV and drop it into places that interest you. This works especially well for bars, restaurants, cafes and smaller independent shops.
