Can I get a job at the University?

The simple answer is yes. There’s loads of opportunities for you to get involved with the University whilst you’re studying at Leeds and after you graduate.

Casual or Part-time Jobs

Throughout the year the University recruits ambassadors for open days, specific departments or other key events, so it’s a good idea to ask in your own area of study to see what opportunities are available.

Most ambassador roles will also be advertised on Joblink, LUU’s very own recruitment agency. Joblink has a bunch of causal roles throughout the University all year round. These can include bar work, conference assistance, resident assistance, portering, mail sorting, customer service, sports refereeing and admin support to name a few. To keep updated check the website, sign up to their mailing list or join the Facebook group.

Full-time Jobs

Joblink also has temporary full-time admin roles across the University. These roles are always advertised on the website. You can also check out the University jobs page too.
