There are some changes to committee positions this year so please read the document carefully and apply to a role that will suit and excite you!

Club secretary will now be Vice Club Captain and we have introduced a new position as Diversity and Inclusion Officer. Both of these roles have been explained in the document attached but please feel free to message exec if you have any questions!

If you are going to apply for a role you need to do the following:

1. Get two members from the club to nominate you, one of them must be on committee. The committee member will PROPOSE you and say why they think you are suited to this role at the AGM and the other person just has to SECOND you. 

2. Write and upload your manifesto to engage outlining: the role you are going for, the 2 people nominating you and a bit about why you think you're suited to the role. This must be completed by 2nd May!

3. At the AGM you will need to give a 3-5 minute speech about why you're suited for the role. 

Key Dates:

10th April - Nominations open on engage to submit your manifestos

3rd May - We will be booking a lecture theatre during normal training hours to listen to everyones manifestos (5-7pm, location TBC)

7pm 3rd May VOTING OPENS 

5pm 6th May VOTING CLOSES and RESULTS for next years committee will be released

A few tips:

- Speak to people who are currently doing the role you want to find out a bit more 

- You can only apply for ONE role

- You can only nominate 1 person per role or second 1 person per role 

- DON'T BE SCARED TO PUT YOURSELF FORWARD!! Being on committee is really exciting, it looks good on your CV and it’s a chance to get even more involved with LUUWRUFC! Please don't avoid going for a role because you think someone else is going for it, there are surprises every year!
