To be eligible to apply for a committee role, a member must be a part of the society and should give a brief description of why they want to apply for the role and how they can help ShockSoc in that role.

During the election process, each candidate has the opportunity to present their vision and plans for ShockSoc if they are elected to the role they are applying for. The society members will then vote to elect the most suitable candidate for each role.

The roles that are available include Secretary, Inclusivity Officer, Welfare Officer, Academic Representative, Social Secretary, RFL Commander, Sports Secretary, Events Secretary, Vice President, Treasurer, President, Head of Robotics, and Community Manager.
