The Robot Fighting League Commander of ShockSoc has a number of important responsibilities. Firstly, they are responsible for organizing the Robot Fighting League event, and must assemble a team of at least three Event Planners to assist in this task. The group must meet regularly and all plans must be approved by the Shocksoc Committee. Additionally, the Commander is responsible for securing necessities for the event, such as the venue, risk assessment, and staff. They must also organize advertising for RFL events alongside the web designer, provide support and organization for participants, and maintain an inventory of parts for sale on the RFL website alongside the treasurer. The Commander works with the Inclusivity Officer to ensure that events are inclusive and maintains the RFL section on the ShockSoc website.
