It is the time of year for the current Committee to pass the baton to new candidates of 2022/23! Feminist Society is a really rewarding society to be on the committee of, using our platform to bring feminists together from all diverse backgrounds, spread important information through discussions, social media and instigated action within and outside the Union. 

Finishing a year of being on the committee, has provided invaluable skills at holding events (such as our infamous Drink and Draw and Period Party) as well as creating a safe space to talk about pertinent issues such as Men and feminism, Climate action and Sex Positivity. It has been such a luxury to connect with the other societies such as our amazing International Women's Day Clothsline demonstration held in the Union. All round is a very rewarding society to run and we encourage anyone and everyone to get involved!

Nomination period is throughout the whole of April, so plenty of time to consider which role would be perfect for you. Voting period will be across the first week of May and then the current committee will take the time to make sure our new group of feminist queens are comfortable to take over.
