The academic year is coming to an end, and along with it comes the event of the year - the ArcSoc election! The current committee still has a little while left, whilst our heads are buried in Design Studio 4.2, but our time is coming to an end, as all great things do, and the handover of ArcSoc must begin.

Everyone is welcome to run, and we would encourage students from all years to consider running. Having committee members from second, third and fourth year is something that we feel would really benefit the society in the future.

The committee have decided to remove the membership fee for this year because of some delays, so if you want to run, but don't have a membership… well, now you can definitely get a membership and run.

We appreciate this is busy time of year for all years, and we aren't expecting people to run big campaigns - just tell us who you are and what you want to do with ArcSoc.

You have until Friday the 16th of May to nominate yourselves, and you will then have until the 30th of May to vote, when we will announce the results shortly afterwards. Roles available are two Co-Presidents, Secretary, Treasurer, Social Sec, and Communications/Welfare sec.

Finally, as one of the last things ArcSoc will do this year, we are hoping to help run the end of year show. We think this would be a great opportunity to start the handover in June, having the current and future committee working together.
