Hey! I’m Gargi – possibly better known as “Nick’s tutee”, since he somehow managed to mention me in nearly every lecture last semester (don’t worry, I’ve recovered). I’m running for Treasurer of the Architecture Society because I genuinely enjoy organising, budgeting, and helping things run smoothly – with the same care I give to every Revit model. As Secretary of my residence’s social committee, I’ve already experienced organising things behind the scenes, keeping track of spending, and making sure good ideas turn into real, successful events.

I want to help the society do more – more workshops, guest talks, and socials – while making sure our money is used wisely and transparently. No more scrambling at the last minute; just clear plans, reliable support, and maybe a fun pop of colour in our spreadsheets.

Vote for me if you want someone who’s dependable, approachable, and truly excited to make our society the best it can be.

Heyy! My name is Senali, I am currently a second-year Architecture student and I would love to join the ArcSoc committee as your treasurer next year.
If my poster didn’t convince you enough to vote for me, here’s a few things I would bring to the table (as treasurer and a general committee member):
- Spending efficiently, so there can be more money for regular socials
- Ensuring that any ticket prices are affordable and reasonable
- Apply for funding to benefit socials and events throughout the year
- Bringing baked treats to events :)
