As a passionate architecture student, I am excited to run for ArcSoc President. My goal is to build a more inclusive, collaborative and confident student community. After experiencing both the strengths and challenges of our course, I am committed to providing the skills and support we need to thrive as future architects.
I will continue and expand the current ArcSoc workshops with skills from drawing to rendering helping raise the standard of the student work across all years. I will also introduce practice crits, where students can give and receive constructive feedback in a supportive space, helping to remove the stigma around crits and make final reviews more meaningful.
Beyond the studio, I want to being us together with a number of architecture talks from top architects and a wide range of socials including a ArcSoc Ball.

My name is Tomasz, and I will be going into 4th year of architecture this upcoming semester. Architecture is a significant part of my life; I have been pursuing my interest in the field ever since middle school.
I would like to run for the president of architecture society as I am looking forward to providing a good experience in integrating all students in the school, ensuring we can all connect and speak about our passion.
In addition, I would be looking forward to continuing hosting tutorials and classes from things such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Revit, helping students understand these key programs.
I believe I would be a good candidate for the role of president as I have always been dedicated to helping fellow students and am always seen around the department, making myself approachable. My previous experiences in running societies have taught me how to deal with the LUU as well as understand organizing events.
Finally, my ambition would be to host more events with guest speakers, allowing us to understand the field better, from more diverse positions.

Hey everyone! Some of you may know me already, maybe you've seen me helping out with the coffee mornings or roaming around the clusters yapping. I'm currently a Year 2 Architectural Engineering student, very eager about ArcSoc returning and can't wait to see what it'll become. I'm quite organized and have lead multiple successful teams and events before in both highschool and another society. I have multiple goals for ArcSoc in the coming year and hope to keep it alive for further years. I plan to make this society the most fun, active, inclusive, and beneficial it can be for all students. Hopefully we'll be able to make multiple events like workshops, activities, media, collabs, and industry-related (maybe even a ball or competition). I'm excited to strengthen our community on campus- preferably through fun and laughs instead of just trauma-bonding. Can't wait to meet all of you and hear all your ideas for it!
