BEFORE NOMINATING YOURSELF ON ENGAGE:

Make sure you have read all committee positions carefully to ensure you understand what each role entails. Please note that all roles require:

• A passion for CalSoc and contributing to its growth
• A high level of commitment to attending weekly practices and socials
• A willingness to give a significant amount of time to help run the society voluntarily
• A commitment to working as a team with the wider committee; attending regular meetings and supporting others in their roles.
• Only President requires previous CalSoc Committee experience 

Your nomination on Engage only includes your name - no extra details needed here!

AFTER NOMINATING YOURSELF:

Please email your application to caledonian@luu.group. This should include:

• A short message to the current committee explaining why you want the role and what you would bring to it
• A visual material that will be shared with members for voting. This can be anything that represents you - a poster (Canva works well for creating online), photo, video, or similar - and must clearly include your name. This will be what members vote on, so make sure it captures you/your ideas well!

IMPORTANT DATES

• Nominations & applications open: Sunday 29 March 11.30am.
• Nominations & applications close: Friday 10 April 6.30pm.

Members will then vote for their preferred candidates.

• Voting opens: Sunday 12 April 11.30am.
• Voting closes: Saturday 25 April 6.30pm.

The new committee will be announced at the AGM on Tuesday 28 April.
