Managing your money can sometimes feel overwhelming, especially when balancing study costs, rent, bills, and everyday expenses. Looking after your financial wellbeing means understanding your income and spending, planning ahead where possible, and getting support when you need it.

University Emergency Financial Assistance Fund 

If you are in financial difficulty you can apply to the University Financial Assistance Fund (FAF) which can offer support to students who are facing unexpected and unpreventable hardship. You will need to show that you had sufficient funding in place at the start of your course to be eligible amongst other eligibility criteria listed on the University webpage: University of Leeds Financial Assistance Fund (FAF)

To apply you would need to complete the online enquiry form: Financial Assistance Fund (FAF) online enquiry form and the Funding team would then send you a copy of the relevant application form.

This fund is open to all full and part-time students on either Undergraduate or Postgraduate study (including EU and International students).
