If you are applying for a tuition and/or maintenance loan through the Student Loans Company, your application should ask if you wish to also apply for Disabled Students Allowances’. If you select this option, you will automatically receive the relevant additional form to complete.

Please know you can apply before you begin your course and as soon as student finance applications open. We advise applying as early as possible to ensure your support can be set up for when you begin your studies.

Disabled Students Allowances’ can take up to 14 weeks to process from your initial application to receiving your full support, and so please speak to Disability Services about any support you may need in the meantime.
