Women In Leadership AGM 2026

Founded in 2017, the Leeds Women in Leadership Society has grown to one of the biggest societies on campus with over 700+ members by providing career opportunities and a community to all students, including but not limited to business, law, STEM, Arts and Humanities students. We seek to empower students to be leaders within their communities in both their careers and academic lives, by providing practical skills to reach their full potential irrespective of gender, ethnicity, and socio-economic status. 

If you align with this mission and are enthusiastic about driving change, why not consider applying to join our executive committee? This year we have vacancies for 10 different positions:

Nominations will be open from the 1/04 at 12:00pm and will close on the 15/4 at 23:59 (UK time). Voting will shortly commence on the 16/4 12:00 UK time. If you require any assistance, feel free to contact us via the email:

IMPORTANT: YOU MUST UPLOAD AT LEAST A POSTER BEFORE VOTING CLOSES. YOU CANNOT BE ON INDUSTRIAL PLACEMENT NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION.

Everyone applying must be a current University of Leeds student enrolled for the next full academic year (25/26).

*As stated within the 2024-2025 constitution, only those who have previously been on the executive or sub-committee can apply for the position. Anyone found who does not meet the prerequisites will be immediately disqualified.
