How to organise your Give it a Go
We've made some changes for Semester 2 so please make sure you read the steps and all of our guidance carefully to make sure you are eligible for the funding.
Step 1: Think about what you want to do for your GIAG event. Consider what this will be, where you will host it and any considerations for accessibility and inclusion. Make sure you read our guidance before you do anything else.
Step 2: Book your room or space. Before you make any bookings, make sure you read the room booking guidance.
Step 3: Create your event on Engage. For more information on this, please see Engage FAQ page How to: Add an event
Step 4: Fill in our GIAG form to tell us what you are doing.
Step 5: Get promoting your event and don’t forget to tag us on social media @ella4activities and @leedsuniunion so we can re-share your content.
Step 6: Hold your GIAG and don't forget to take a note of attendance numbers and take some photos (make sure you get permission!)
Step 7: Fill in our GIAG feedback form and tell us how it went! You will need to use a Google Account or your society G-Suite to access the form.
And then you’re all set! All that’s left to do now is wait for the incentive funding to come into your society bank account!
It is essential that you complete steps 4 and 7 to recieve funding.
