Welcome to the DiceSoc committee election for 2026 to 2027! You will be serving committee for the next academic year and handover will commence from just before the summer holidays if elected.

7 Positions available are as follows:

President

• Organising and overseeing the running of the Dicesoc 
• Chairing Committee Meetings, AGMs and EGMs 
• Ensuring the production of an annual report 
• Ensuring there is an up to date entry in the DiceSoc's LUU webpage 
• Code of conduct, risk assessments, etc communicated to all members 
• Ensure that LUU Safeguarding Policy is upheld and/or clearly delegate this responsibility.

Secretary

• Maintaining membership records containing at least the name and membership category of all DiceSoc members 
• Producing agenda documents for all meetings 
• Maintaining a written record of all meetings 
• Maintaining an up-to-date copy of DiceSoc's constitution 
• Ensuring only Full and Ex-Officio Members are given an opportunity to vote in society elections

Treasurer

• Managing the finances of the DiceSoc 
• Maintaining up-to-date accounts with the LUU Cash Office only
• Submitting subsidy applications to Activities Executive 
• Produce a termly report and yearly budget 
• Submitting a detailed statement of accounts for the year to the DiceSoc's Annual General Meeting.

Social Media Officer

• Manage the society’s social media 
• Makes announcements to members 
• Arrange which committee member(s) shall be present and leading each social event

Event Coordinator

• Help organise and run the society’s weekly events 
• Come up with ideas for new events for the society 
• Help to realise and plan events put forward by the committee as a whole 
• Work with other member(s) and Clubs/Society's to organise Collaboration Events

Well-being Officer

• Look after the DiceSocs members’ and committee wellbeing 
• Create an inclusive environment where people feel comfortable 
• Be a “friendly face” in the society members can come to should they need help 
• Signpost members to further resources or help should they need it

Inventory Manager:

• Manage society inventory both in and out of society storage
•  Ensure all committee and members have the correct equipment for all events 
• Oversee acquisition of new inventory and storage 
• Manage loyalty reward scheme inventory and delivery 
• Manage the society library including: updating the contents, managing member requests, update conditions etc.
