Hello! I am Gogs and I am a 1st year Maths student at UoL. From being apart of the society for the last year, I have met so many wonderful people that share the same passion as me for TTRPGs, which is why I wish to be more involved in the society.

I have worked with finances and budgeting before, with running as a Project Manager a couple years ago, developing my own Robotics Workshop for young people. As treasurer, I aim to ensure that the running of events goes smoothly. I would also use my role to find grants and exciting, new sponsorships, which would strongly benefit DiceSoc in the future.

I would describe myself as quite a methodical and organised individual, traits that I believe would make a good Treasurer. I will make sure that accounts with the LUU Cash Office are kept up-to-date, and that the termly/yearly budget reports are produced well before the deadline. As mentioned before, budgeting and spreadsheets are not a new concept to me, so my previous experiences would heavily work in the society's favour.

I am prepared to work hard as DiceSoc's Treasurer and I thank you for taking the time to read my candidate statement :)
