I've got no money, what should I do?
Don’t panic, help is available.
The University has a fund set aside to help home students when they’re facing tough times financially. This is called the Financial Assistance Fund. The Financial Assistance Fund is there to cover living costs but cannot be used to help with tuition fees or exam fees. There are certain eligibility criteria, so please take a look before applying.
International students can also access the Financial Assistance Fund if they are struggling financially. The fund may be able to support with living costs but cannot be used to help with tuition or exam fees. You can see the eligibility criteria here.
LUU Advice in the Union can help with applying for this fund and can talk to you about other options like debt negotiation and budgeting.
