Welcome to Cricket (w)

With 190 members, there is a place for everyone in UOLWCC! Whether you are a seasoned professional or have never picked up a bat, Women’s cricket aims to help everyone improve their game while making memories along the way.

With no trials, everyone is welcome to join women’s cricket. Our weekly training sessions are structured to be beneficial to all abilities, with extra weekly net sessions for those who wish to improve further. For those more experienced players, performance cricket is available to challenge yourself, both with extra training sessions and matches. Regular themed socials are available to all, with social memberships on offer for those who wish to solely partake in our events.

This previous year, we achieved great success at the Gryphon Colours Awards

  • Being shortlisted for 16 awards including Club of the Year, Most Improved Club of the Year and White Rose Award in recognition of their outstanding contributions to UOLWCC and fundraising respectively.
  • Won the Social Leagues Team of the Year for the second time
  • Several of our members received Full and Club Colours
