Join us for a evening of surgery and anaesthesia!

Introducing the first-ever collaboration between Cutting Edge Surgical Society and the Undergraduate Anaesthetics Society (UGAS)! This event will guide you through the journey of an acutely unwell patient—from admission to surgical wound closure. Meet experienced surgeons and anaesthetists, gain hands-on skills, and dive into practical workshops covering important aspects of anaesthesia and surgery.

During this interactive evening, you’ll rotate through four stations, each led by doctors aiming to share insights and provide practical training.

Event Schedule
Attendees will be divided into two groups to rotate through the sessions.

• 18:00 – Welcome & Introduction by Cutting Edge and UGAS
• 18:15 – Surgical Talk (Room 1), Practical Sessions Begin (Room 2)
• 18:35 – Anaesthetic Talk (Room 1), Session Switch in Room 2
• 18:55 – Pizza & Networking Break
• 19:10 – Second Surgical Talk (Room 1), Practical Sessions Resume (Room 2)
• 19:30 – Second Anaesthetic Talk (Room 1), Final Session Switch
• 20:00 - Closing Remarks
