Cutting Edge Leeds is your one-stop-shop for all things SURGERY!
Our aim is to promote surgical careers and increase awareness of and accessibility to this exciting field. We are extremely friendly and approachable – whether surgery is your calling or whether you’re sure of the complete opposite, come and try your hand at one of Cutting Edge Leeds’ many events – we have something for everyone!

Training
Whether you were born wearing scrubs or still have no idea how to hold a scalpel – we are here to guide you! Affiliated with the Royal College of Surgeons, we put out a range of events from weekly teaching sessions, surgical skills course, the careers and equality meetings and to our flagship event – the annual conference!
Membership
Annual Membership are on SALE for £5.
All members are offered discounted rates (or free tickets) to all events, talks and workshops.
Members have exclusive access to the Cutting Edge Mentorship Scheme!
All of our members are eligible to benefits of the Northern Partnership, which gives access to events from other university surgical societies at Sheffield, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle and Nottingham.
