Welcome to University of Leeds Women’s Lacrosse!
Winner of the Best Sports Society at the Riley Awards 2026!
Whether you’ve played for years or have never picked up a stick, there’s a place for you at LUUWLC. With over 270 members including over 200 Beginners and Development (B&D) and Social members, our society is for everyone.
Our 3 BUCS teams play weekly games across the North, whilst our thriving Beginners & Development players learn, train and compete together in a fun and supportive environment.
New to lacrosse? No kit? No problem! Sticks and Equipment are provided so you can come down and give it a go!
Off the pitch, we come together for Wednesday Socials and Sober Socials where you'll make friends, have fun, and be part of the energetic community that makes LUUWLC so special.

Example training times (subject to change for 26/27):
Monday: 21:00–22:00 @ The Edge – Full Squad Fitness & Drills
Tuesday: 20:00–22:00 @ Weetwood – 1st & 2nd Team
Wednesday: BUCS Matches + whole club social
Thursday: 17:00–19:00 @ Weetwood – 3rd Team & Beginners/Development
Sunday: 15.00-17.00 @ Weetwood - Mixed lacrosse with men's lax
