Hi everyone :)

The hiking club is hosting a joint social with Students Against Sexual Harassment & Assault (SASHA). The work SASHA does in providing a safe space for survivors and allies, activism and raising awareness and providing training is amazing for all societies and students across campus. 

We have decided to run a joint social with SASHA. We will be doing paracord bracelet making (I have attached a link below in case you've never heard of this !). Alongside this the social will also include some little bits like an intro to SASHA, a brief overview of how to be an active bystander and some other welfare bits.  

This will a really fun evening and be an amazing opportunity for everyone who attends and a chance to meet SASHA members and committee. It will be held Wednesday 18th of February in a space in old bar from 4 till 6pm. This is going to be a free event but please buy one of the product tickets just so we have an idea of how many people are planning on coming !!

As a final bit we will be doing an optional donation for a sexual violence survivors charity. This will appear as another product later in the week with the charity name and details of what they do. Please feel free to donate as much or as little as you like but any support would be amazing :)

Please get this ticket if you'd like to attend the next leader pathway session on Tuesday 17th February from 5:30pm. We will mostly focus on route planning and also recap basic navigation skills. It will be in Parkinson SR B.10.
