Welcome to MedTech society!

The purpose of this society is to foster collaboration amongst anyone interested in the MedTech industry, including but not limited to; engineers, mathematicians, scientists, healthcare professionals, and entrepreneurs. 

The committee plans to offer undergraduates the support they need to refine their skills, provide opportunities that align with their ambitions, and create a community where they can feel a true sense of belonging. We hope to encourage students of all backgrounds to connect with like-minded people and begin navigating future opportunities!

There are tons of socials, career events, guest speakers and industry collaborations currently in the works so keep an eye out for these - and of course we hope to have some fun socials for you all to meet each other as well. 

Some potential developments in the society include opportunities for PhD students to share their expertise with younger undergraduates, Third and fourth-year undergraduates could host workshops alongside professors, Women in MedTech would have the opportunity to come together and celebrate achievements, and EVERYONE would have the opportunity to work across disciplines in events like hackathons and product pitching.
