The first beginner river trip of the year woooo hooo !!
Suitable for all abilities, whether you’ve paddled before or have only been to our pool sessions.
🚨YOU MUST HAVE COMPLETED A 50M SWIM & DECK TEST🚨
Meet at the chapel at 9am on Sunday the 6th of October !!
We will be headed to a river with some whitewater sections, which will give you a chance to practice and learn new skills. Buy your ticket now for adrenaline-fueled fun.
We may even head to the pub afterward :)
Kit list:
- Sturdy trainers (or wetsuit boots with good grip) - these will get wet
- Thermal top & bottom (multiple if you get cold) for on the water (not cotton) - more than you think you will need.
- Jumper to wear on water (not cotton)
- 2nd pair of shoes (for after)
- Towel
- Spare underwear and socks
- Lots of warm clothes for afterward
- Waterproof coat
- Lunch & Snacks
- Water
- Large Shopping / IKEA bag for wet clothes & kit
- Contact lenses / glasses strap for on the water (you MUST be able to see properly)
If you have any concerns/ don't have all the kit you need just let us know and we can probably find spares of most things.
