Welcome to Touch Rugby (Mixed)
Looking to try a new sport at uni? Touch rugby is one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK, and it's a great way to stay active while developing new skills. It's a six-a-side game that is fast-paced and emphasises agility, handling skills, and quick decision-making.
We are home to two teams who compete in the BUCS University Touch Championships with tournaments held across the country, as well as friendlies against local teams.
We have members with a wide range of abilities, from complete beginners to players who have represented their countries at international tournaments!
Training:
- Monday: 4-6pm at Weetwood
- Wednesday: 3-5pm on Woodhouse Moor
- Friday: 3-5pm at Weetwood
Socials
We host a range of social events include weekly Wednesday events with a variety of themes, post-tournament celebrations, trips to other cities, alumni events and end of year/season dinners!
Memberships
We offer a standard membership, for those wishing to come to trainings, socials and friendly tournaments. As well as a BUCS membership upgrade for those wishing to play at a more competitive level and represent the University of Leeds at the BUCS Touch Rugby Championships.
