🎄 Inter-University Christmas Market Trip! 🎄

It’s that time of year again — and we’re thrilled to announce our first inter-university collaboration of the year with the Japanese Societies of Sheffield and York!

Join us on Saturday 29th for a festive day out filled with Christmas cheer and great company.

We’ll be arriving in York around 12:00, and ticket holders will receive final train details and meeting point information closer to the date. We’ll all be meeting at Leeds Station to take the same train together to York, so no one has to travel alone! (Please note that the price of the train ticket is not included in the event ticket.)

Once we arrive, you’ll have some free time to grab lunch — we’ll also share a few recommended spots to help you choose!

After lunch, we'll all meet up again to visit the Jorvik Viking Centre, where we’ll travel back in time to experience Viking Britain. Afterwards, we’ll explore the York Christmas Markets, perfect for picking up gifts or enjoying festive treats!

To wrap up the day, we’ll (TBC) be heading to Pizza Express at 6:30pm for a group dinner, followed by a pub social to keep the festivities going. 🍕🍻
