Join us on 1st February as we hold our Fresh start festival women's only Give It A Go, an event exclusively for you to meet like-minded women with a passion for karting. This is an event for women who are new to karting, but if you're a more experienced karter we will have another women's only event later in the term along with loads of our regular karting events.

Your ticket for the event will include 30 minutes of driving broken up into 2 sessions:

• 15 minutes of practice and qualifying, where you get to know the track and set your fastest time against 15 others, which determines your grid position for the race
• Followed by a 15-minute (approx. 16-lap) race, battling for positions!

Transport to Teamsport Leeds is included from the Parkinson Building to the track, and back afterwards. With tickets at just £25 you will not find more affordable karting anywhere else!

And, there's yet more good news. This event does not require a membership and is purely in place for you to get a taste of racing and the society to find out if we are the right fit for you. If you do enjoy your time, then membership costs just £25, giving you access to purchase tickets for all our future events throughout this academic year. This includes our internal karting championships known as Tour de Yorkshire and Tour de Yorkshire Endurance, as well as countless other special events throughout the year.

All that we need from you is the following:

• To purchase a ticket for the event.
• Turn up at the bottom of the Parkinson Building Steps at 3:30PM on Thursday 1st February.
• Wear (or bring) appropriate clothing (No open-toed footwear or scarves to be worn on track). All other kit like gloves, racing suit and helmet will all be provided for you.
• Finally, have fun and enjoy meeting new people with similar passions to yourselves.

If you wish to have a refund, then you must contact a member of the committee stating so. This must be done with AT LEAST 48 HOURS notice prior to the event's starting time. If these conditions are not met, we cannot guarantee a refund. By purchasing this ticket, you are accepting these conditions.
