Join us for our Summer trip, where will enjoy a few more days in the hills, returning to the Lake District!

We will meet on the evening of Friday 6th June at Thirlmere Recreation Hall (https://www.thirlmererecreationhall.co.uk/) in the Lake District! We will all be making our own way to the hall, by our preferred means (the transport secretary will be happy to advise on this matter!). Accommodation, breakfast and evening meals (except the night you arrive and leave the trip) are included in your ticket. It is very unlikely that we'll have phone signal at the accommodation. 

Each day we will split into groups and go on separate routes, these will vary in length, elevation and technicality. This trip should give you the opportunity to explore some of the Lake District's Fells. 

We want to make trips as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, some equipment is required. A kit list can be found here https://luuhc.com/gear/weekend-trips. Please follow it! Need some inspiration for what food to pack? See the ‘Getting Outside’ FAQ section of our website at https://luuhc.com/faq#Getting-outside. For this trip you will need a sleeping bag and roll mat. The club does have limited gear members can borrow, if you’d like to borrow gear for this trip please email our amazing Gear Secretary, Celeste, through luuhc.gear@gmail.com.

If you can no longer make it to the hike, please contact our Club Secretary, Florence, through luuhc.secretary@gmail.com as soon as possible. If we can find someone to replace you from the waiting list, you’ll get a full refund. If not, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund. Sorry, you can’t swap tickets.
