5/3 Swing Dance Shag Course 2
Come and join us for another Thursday class of Swing dancing! Attend all evening or for as long as you can :)
This week Steve and Diane return to the society to continue a 3 week course in Shag.
Shag is a partner dance primarily done to high tempo music which arose in the 1920s and 30s. Each week of the course we will be progressing into more complicated moves and principles so we would highly recommend you attend all sessions! These courses are an excellent way to level up your dancing in new and exciting ways. We look forward to seeing you there!
1845 - 1900 -> Practice the steps (or be introduced to them if it is your first time!)
1900 - 2045 -> Class taught by the wonderful Steve and Diane (with a break in the middle!)
2045 - 2120 -> Social dance to practice the taught moves!
