'Tender Flames' is an art & spoken word exhibition acting as a fundraiser for Young Abuse Support, a charity for young people.

The exhibition will display local artwork kindly made for the purpose of this event, and spoken word will be performed intermittently. Guests are welcome to walk around, grab a drink and some food, and network with others.

Both organisations (SASHA & YAS) work in the charity sector, with SASHA society at the University of Leeds bringing sexual violence activism to the forefront of discussions and dismantle rape culture, and YAS being a survivor-led charity that provides training on young partner abuse for counsellors and DSLs in schools across the UK. We are inclusive and intersectional, and prioritise education and change.

Guests are welcome to purchase art by talking to any of the hosts or artists themselves.

Tickets are non-refundable as proceeds go to charity, but you are welcome to swap your ticket with someone else.
