This year there is no ‘non-member ticket’ option as the School of Computer Science are heavily subsidising tickets for members - they would be £75 without this! Instead, the non-members price of £31 accounts for you buying a £6 membership on Engage and then £25 tickets will show as available here.

Ticket sales close on Tuesday 28th April at 12:00pm (midday). However, we are opening up seat selection for those who have purchased tickets on Tuesday 7th April and this is FIRST COME FIRST SERVE, so if you would like to sit with your friends, make sure you buy your ticket before this date!

It's the biggest event of the year - our annual summer ball! This is your chance to celebrate another year of courseworks successfully submitted and exams passed with the friends that helped you through the toughest moments (let's just pretend it wasn't all ChatGPT).

The theme this year is ‘A Night at the Movies’, so bring your best glamour and get ready to walk the red carpet!

Date and time: Friday 8th May, 6pm
Location: New Dock Hall, Royal Armouries, starting with a drinks reception in the Royal Armouries Museum across the street (find directions here)
Dress code: Black tie - pre-event shower not compulsory but highly recommended
Price: £25

The ticket price gets you a 3-course meal and drinks. Tickets are available for Leeds Computing Society members only, but if you are not yet a member, you can buy a membership on Engage for £6.

Keep an eye on your university email once you have bought a ticket to be able to select your seats and menu options. More information will also be posted on our Instagram, WhatsApp, Discord, and website. 

The School of Computer Science have kindly provided funding for the ball to keep the ticket price affordable, so make sure you thank them and tell Sam that you actually didn't hate formal languages that much after a few glasses of wine ;)
