As chair, you will organise and oversee the running of the society. You will chair committee meetings, EGMs and AGMs. You will ensure the production of an annual report and an up to date entry in the society's LUU webpage.
You will fairly represent the opinions, wants, needs and beliefs of Society Members to the Committee, other Society Members and within the overall running of the Society, and make decisions about the Society as a whole by Simple Majority Vote. In the case of a split vote, the Chair casts the deciding vote.
Finally, you will represent the society's views to the media, other LGBT organisations and groups, and other external bodies in consultation with the Committee.
