The Welfare Officer is responsible for ensuring inclusion within the society and is the first point of contact for members with concerns regarding welfare, discrimination, poor practice or abuse.
Responsabilities:
- Report welfare incidents to LUU when appropriate
- Work with committee to enshrine principles of equality, diversity and inclusion within all aspects of the Club, as well as safeguarding
- Undertake all recommended training to enable them to fulfil their role
- Look into fundraising and charity opportunities within LUU and externally
