Howdy! I've been active in the society for about a year now, and I am an avid enjoyer of a plethora of Nintendo franchises such as Mario and Zelda (although I've only properly played Breath of the Wild, sure do need to catch up on that!), as well as some other closely related franchises like Sonic. However, I would say that Pokémon is my most played and favourite by far, both in terms of playing its games leisurely, as well as competitively.

Hence why I feel that I'd be a good fit for a role as Competition Secretary, as I have experience with various metagames in competitive Pokémon, and can set up any tournaments or leagues relating to mons throughout the year [yay for more fun themed NAPsoc tournaments :) ] ! You will quite often find me in chats relating to competitive mons on the Discord server, and it's genuinely because it's something I have a good passion for! I can also aid with/set up other competitions such as Smash Bros. or Mario Kart tournaments for instance ^^


Furthermore, I really do love NAPsoc both as a society and as a community, and I would really love to be able to help out with the running of the society on the commitee, going onto my third year. It's been an absolutely welcoming place, and a highlight of my uni experience for sure! I would also like to help with other aspects of the running of the committee where I can, and will help to make this society go onto having another great year :)
