We’re looking for committed, enthusiastic individuals to join next year’s Enactus Leeds committee. If you want to drive meaningful social change, develop your leadership abilities, and make a genuine impact, this is your opportunity. Ideally we are looking for 1st/2nd year students as the workload would be potentially overwhelming for final year/master's students, but nothing's impossible! 
 

What is Enactus?

Enactus is a global network of students developing social enterprises to tackle pressing societal issues. At Enactus Leeds, we currently run impactful projects addressing homelessness and food insecurity, including Skillbridge, our innovative social enterprise tackling food waste and providing employment opportunities for homeless individuals. This year, our team reached the top 16 nationally, and our Skillbridge project was a finalist in the prestigious R&Co Action4Impact competition. We’re aiming even higher in 2026, targeting the top 4 nationally with Skillbridge.

Enactus UK National Expo & Competition (2026): Showcase your impact alongside the top Enactus teams from across the country. This is your chance to lead Leeds into the national top tier and compete to represent the UK at the Enactus World Cup.

R&Co Action4Impact Competition: Participate in one of Enactus UK’s flagship events, which offers significant recognition and networking opportunities. This year, as Skillbridge reached the finals, our members gained access to an exclusive careers fair, where students often secure graduate roles, internships, and professional connections.

Being on the committee positions you at the forefront of these exclusive opportunities.

Roles available:

Non-Executive Chair: Provides strategic leadership and oversight to the club’s executive team and ensures alignment with the club’s long-term vision and goals.

President (Team Leader): Lead and set the direction of Enactus Leeds, represent us nationally, and coordinate the team.

Vice President: Support the Team Leader in managing the society, helping with decision making, and representing Enactus Leeds. 

Vice President of Engagement (VPE): Manage external relationships, facilitate partner events, and maintain communication with Enactus UK and sponsors.

Human Resources (HR) Lead: Recruit new members, foster team engagement, and ensure our team remains inclusive and supportive.

Marketing Lead:Shape our social media presence, boost visibility, and promote the society’s achievements and events.

Treasurer: Oversee finances for our projects, manage budgeting processes, and help secure funding to support our activities and growth.

Social Secretary: Organise social and developmental events, build community, and maintain a welcoming environment for all members.
