The Secretary is crucial for the administration and organization of the society. They are in charge of maintaining accurate membership records and food hygiene certificates. This role requires keeping detailed records of all committee meetings, AGMs, and EGMs, as well as ensuring that the Society's constitution is current. The Secretary is responsible for informing members about their voting rights relative to their membership status. Regularly checking and responding to communications via the Baking Society's email account is essential. They must also ensure that all pertinent information and records are updated on LUU Engage. The Secretary handles the logistics of booking rooms for fortnightly meetings and organizing voting forms on Google before each meeting.
