We're really excited to announce this year's AGM!! 

If you're enthusiastic about electronic dance music and would like the opportunity to take up a role as part of the BPM 22/23' committee, the following roles are available: 

Roles

1) President – This person will oversee most parts of the society. They will be involved in running events, promoting the society, managing the open decks, and keeping things running with regular meetings.

2) Vice President – This role consists of supporting the president in ensuring the smooth running of the society. They will organise and keep track of meetings but also have a role in running events.

3) Secretary - The secretary maintains membership records, produce agenda documents for all meetings and maintains written records of all meetings

3) Treasurer – The individual responsible for the monetary assets of the society. If anything needs to be paid for whether it’s space rental or equipment hire, this is who will be sorting that out. 

4) Radio manager – Keeping people locked in on a weekly radio show, with a multitude of different guests and music. There are opportunities at Sabel radio and within the university itself. A perfect role for anybody wanting to improve their DJing skills and get regular practice and exposure on radio. 

5) Social media manager – A very important part of the society is to keep people engaged and updated. You would be managing our Insta and Facebook accounts, dealing with incoming messages from promoters and DJ’s – whilst keeping everybody in the loop! 

6) Events Officer (x2) - Another very important role, the event's officer organises the society events and socials. Whether that's an open deck night, club night or DJ workshops, the event's officer is a curative role! 

NOTE: 

Please remember that you need to be a member of the society in order to nominate yourself for any of the positions above. 

Nominations end on the 11th of May at 9am and voting will commence the following day, closing on the 14th of May. 

Positions will be announced on monday the 16th!
