My name is Samuel Chin and I am nominating myself for the position of Social Secretary within the University of Leeds Karate Club. I believe myself well suited for this role and understand the importance of it. The social aspect of the club has been one of my favourite things about university. I have met some fantastic people who I otherwise would not have got the chance to get to know and it has made my university life considerably better. I would love the opportunity to help others experience this too. I view myself as a sociable person who enjoys time around others which is why I feel I am well suited to this role. I also have a passion for karate and would like to find other like-minded people and also new starters to engage in a variety of both drinking and sober socials to help enrich the lives of everyone involved. I already have some great ideas for socials and would appreciate the opportunity to make them a reality. I hope everyone reading this considers voting for me. Thank you.
