Willing to handle any money for the club and help push forward events costs

My name is Samuel Chin, and I am nominating myself for the position of Treasurer within the University of Leeds Karate Society. I believe I am well-suited for the role for many reasons. Firstly, I study mathematics meaning I am adept at working with numbers and finances. I spent time working in an accounting office where I had to deal with cashflow and spreadsheets constantly. I am comfortable working with programmes such as Excel and the extra workload on top of my studies would not trouble me as a conscientious student. However, most importantly, I have a great passion for Karate, a martial art I have practiced since I was 4 years old. It would be an honour for me to be able to have the opportunity to further the development of the club, get more people into Karate and further the development of myself and others' already involved in the club skills.
