Interested in representing your fellow students? We're looking for a third EDI rep to join committee. Your role would be to work alongside the year reps to promote equity, tackle discrimination and to represent all medical students; liaising regularly with the faculty to ensure all medical students are being fairly represented and to discuss any issues, ensuring no discriminatory views/events/socials take place, to plan/be involved in events which promote, acknowledge and/or support equity, diversity, and inclusion in the medical school; promoting integration between with societies with similar aims, this may be through events - to demonstrate to students how cohesion can be achieved; and advising the Committee and MUMS reps about the possible impact of activities and family allocation from an equity and inclusion perspective.
