Hi! My name is Nathaniel and I am running for the position of Well-being Officer. As someone who has thoroughly enjoyed the experiences I have had while in the society and has a great love for Dungeons and Dragons, I wish to make a positive impact by helping to create a supportive and inclusive environment that is welcoming to anyone from any background. Also, I really want to act as a intermediary for any problems you have with either the society, or somebody else in the society, so that we can solve any issues you might have! Alongside the core Well-Being of members I wish to work closely with the other committee members to help plan fun and engaging events such as planning and running Wednesday one shots. Finally, I wanted to bring my own flair to this role, and for that I truely believe that this society could greatly improve from someone who puts a priority on community outreach! By this I mean getting more people into the society who may not have thought that this was for them, or even trying to include and attract people who may be to anxious to try! To do this we could try and use both social media and other events such as collaborations with other societies to achieve this, hence I will work closely with both the Social Media Manager and the Events Coordinator to make sure inclusivity and outreach are put at the top of all decisions made within the committee!
