Since it’s been so long since we saw each other, we thought we’d celebrate the return and the new year by hosting a BIG and BETTER social, what David calls “the drunker games”😍

What’s this you may ask? The hunger games but better??? Each of you will be put into a team/ district and a list of challenges (some compulsory, others not) will be sent out for you to complete. Every challenge will have an assigned number of points to it and proof of your completion of these challenges will be sent to a group chat with a committee member on it.

The team with the most amount of points by the end of the night will win an £100 BAR TAB (second team will win a £50 one) at the one and only IF up north!

We will be meeting at Terrace (outside) before the games begin and so that groups can get together. The challenges have been made so that groups eventually land in town, where we’ll meet later at IF up north (latest 22:30) for a boogie (and free drinks if you’re one of the lucky winners) before we head to Full Fat for some extra terrestrial grooving⭐️🥳

🙀 AJAM TICKETS 🙀

If you don’t what AJAM is, you’re in for a treat! It’s only just the biggest and best Ski Festival in the UK! It’s one of the highlights of the year, so don’t be the one missing out on a ticket!

On the 6th of February, we’re getting the bus all the way down to Bristol! Expect good music and good vibes as always! Once we get to the hotel and check in, we’ve got a lovely society meal planned, all included in the price of your ticket!

After the dinner, it’s time for one of the highlights of the weekend, the BRISTOL PUB CRAWL! We go on a massive pub crawl across Bristol, with many classic Snowriders drinking games! After the pub crawl, we’re headed to a club in Bristol to send the night off proper…

On the morning of the 7th, we’re headed to the festival itself! Once there, expect all day music, ski racing and freestyle! Big DJ names such as DUBTENDO will be there, so expect big things! We stay at the festival untill about 12, then back on the coach home!

Kings is the inter-uni ski racing competition, it is completely free for both spectators and competitors 

Soooooo…. On Saturday we will be heading up to Rossendale for a little bit of racing and a lot of apres.

These tickets are for our supporters to come along, bring the vibes and drink with us. Please don’t get a race ticket unless you know you’re racing (speak to your comp captain @morgan.wrigley if you’re unsure). Also please don't get a race and spectator ticket, if you would like to switch you have to let us know. 

Don’t worry, kings is not a serious, hardcore competition, it’s much more of a boozy afternoon with a hit of racing to keep you warm.

We will be meeting at Parkinson steps at 13:15 pm- dress warm as we will be outside for most of the day and bring food and booze as the options to buy them there are limited.

The theme is CAMO (a long standing LS tradition at kings)
