GEAR UP FOR THIS WEEKS FREESTYLE SESSION, 17th OCTOBER 

Grab your ticket here for this weeks freestyle session. Included in the ticket is:

- The coach there and back (expect great music and high energy to get you in a sendy mood). 

- Equipment, including skis/ snowboard, boots, helmet and poles.

- Lift pass for the best 2 hours of your life.

- Absolutely incredible company

Coach leaves at 17:45 from Parkinson steps and we expect to be back around 22:00

We will head straight to terrace for some jugs and 2 for 1 cocktails (Leeds apres) and on to Old Red. 

While it’s absolutely not necessary to be a sendy skier or be advanced at all (there’s lots of space for some cruisey practice) you do need to be able to link your turns safely and ride a button lift. If you have any questions drop a message to the Instagram and we will happily chat to you about it.

You MUST bring gloves, preferably water proof trousers and a long sleeve jumper or coat. Again if you need to borrow any of this drop a message on the Instagram as we do have a limited amount of spares.

This year we want to get more people trying new things so if you’re completely new to snowsports hold off for another few days and keep your eyes on our socials to grab a ticket for our upcoming lessons. If you can link turns and ride a button lift, come along and give it a go, we all had to start somewhere!!

Kings is the inter-uni ski racing competition, it is completely free for both spectators and competitors and there will be 4 rounds over the next couple of months.

Soooooo…. On Saturday we will be heading up to alp de Sunderland (Silksworth dry slope) for a little bit of racing and a lot of apres.

These tickets are for our supporters to come along, bring the vibes and drink with us. Please don’t get a race ticket unless you know you’re racing (speak to your comp captain @eellawilliamss if you’re unsure). Also please don't get a race and spectator ticket, if you would like to switch you have to let us know. 

If you’re interested in racing, please drop us a DM, the BEST and easiest way to get on a team would be to come to our race session on Tuesday (tickets are on engage) and show us what you’re made of. Don’t worry, kings is not a serious, hardcore competition, it’s much more of a boozy afternoon with a hit of racing to keep you warm.

We will be meeting at Parkinson steps at 12:15 pm- dress warm as we will be outside for most of the day and bring food and booze as the options to buy them there are limited.

The theme is CAMO (a long standing LS tradition at kings)
