ChemSoc allows chemistry students to get away from the fume hoods and meet their coursemates in fun and relaxed social environments.

ChemSoc run regular socials throughout the year as well as careers events held by successful alumni and graduate employers.

Socials

We have many socials including Fruity and other Club Nights, Otley Runs, Bowling and Pub Quizzes as well as the ChemSoc Christmas Ball (renowned for being a true highlight of the year). 

We also have plenty of non-drinking socials  and a few surprises up our sleeves for our members!

Sports

We have very successful netball and football teams which members from all years can join. Other teams can be set up with enough support and interest.

Memberships

Membership is £15 for the year which includes discounts for various events and socials.
