Welcome to Peer Assisted Learning Scheme (PALS), (Medics and Dentists)
Hello! We are PALS, the Peer-Assisted Learning Scheme! We run fortnightly to twice-weekly teaching and revision sessions on clinical skills, MBChB content and exam preparation for medical students at the University of Leeds. The peer-teaching scheme follows the MBChB course with Year 5 students teaching Year 4 students, Year 4/intercalators students teaching Year 3 students, Year 3 students teaching Year 2 students and Year 2 students teaching Year 1 students.
This triad of learning, teaching and leading provides medical education experience as well as effective and MBChB-specific learning experiences.
We hope you will join us for another great year!
