The Right to Walk, is an all inclusive women led community aiming to make Leeds a safer and more inclusive city for everyone.
Our main goal is to have clubs and event spaces to sign onto our safety plan as well as having our own safety officers work with the clubs/event spaces and their security team to ensure everyone's safety, this can included spiking, safeguarding and general vulnerability.
 

- At the RTW, we aim to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone in our student community. Ensuring that all of us have a support network, however big or small, is paramount when living in such a tumultuous and threatening time for young people.

- We meet on various occasions throughout the term, the community that we have built consists of respectful and inspirational people. Some of the activities that we have hosted include poster making for reclaim the night, conversational meetings where people in our community are given the opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings on the every day challenges, as well as music/dance events.
