Leeds Quiz Society is a welcoming and inclusive community for students who enjoy quizzes of all kinds; from general knowledge and pop culture to academic trivia and themed questions. Our aim is to create a relaxed, friendly environment where members can test their knowledge, learn new things, and enjoy social, low-pressure competition.

We run regular quiz events designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of experience. Whether you’re a seasoned quizzer or trying quizzing for the first time, you’ll find our events approachable, social, and fun. Teams form naturally at sessions, making it easy to meet new people and get involved.

Our activities include weekly quiz nights, themed special events, and collaborative quizzes with other societies. For those interested in competitive quizzing, we also offer buzzer-style practice sessions and support for students looking to develop skills relevant to University Challenge.

Community is at the heart of Leeds Quiz Society. Members are encouraged to shape the society by suggesting topics, writing rounds, or helping to host events. Alongside quizzes, we organise informal socials to help members connect beyond the quiz table.
