Beginner? Intermediate? Advanced? It doesn't matter! As long as you like to dance, come along and have fun - you'll get more than just a dance routine out of this class.

Our society engages with different styles including Hip-Hop, Commercial, Afrobeats, Waacking, Popping, Locking and more. We encourage our members to express themselves through the art of dance and provide a friendly and open environment to do so.

We also offer Competition opportunities! In semester 1 we have Intercomp, where we compete against other LUU dance societies. We compete in Solos, Duos, Small Group, Large Group (reigning champions for the past 5 years…btw) ;)

In semester 2 we enter national competitions, taking one intermediate street team and one advanced street team to competitions all over the country! Plus, as of last year we also have the exciting addition of a competitive commercial team!!

Training:

We have weekly classes every Monday in Mango Studio, which can be found in the Leeds University Union building.
